Past Tense Problems[edit]

In the Background section there are numerous past tense references to what the book says ("Both his biography in the Old Book of Tang and the New Book of Tang indicated that he was from Bin Prefecture"). While Zhu Mei's actions as described should be in the past tense, referencing what the book says should be in the present tense ("Both his biography in the Old Book of Tang and the New Book of Tang indicate that he was from Bin Prefecture"). I present the issue here because it's a pretty extensive set of changes and I wanted to see if there was any argument against. The Cap'n (talk) 11:11, 9 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
