The Japan Hero one is not RS, but rest are. Good finds. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 11:10, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I was wondering about that because ADV Films uses links it on their website. Arsonal (talk) 15:48, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting...that may make it worth rediscussing at the project or the RSN to see if ADV's linking to it gives it some reliability. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 17:03, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

GA Review[edit]

This review is transcluded from Talk:Zaion: I Wish You Were Here/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.

First off, allow me to apologize for the lengthy delay in review. WP:GAN is a notoriously backlogged process, and gets more so all the time. You've written a mostly solid piece here, and getting it reviewed, fixed up, and promoted should have been a couple afternoons of work, not taken a month of wait time.

As a whole, the page is satisfactory. I see, however, three issues to deal with before I will feel comfortable slapping on the green circle.

  1. The standard episode list is absent. If you are unfamiliar with the syntax, the template used is Template:Japanese episode list. Given the brevity of the series, I agree with your decision to omit a character section, and you similarly need not add episode-specific descriptions to the template. Just make sure that the media information is complete.
  2. The infobox image lacks source attribution on its description page. The source may be obvious from context, but it needs to be given explicitly for the sake of the bots.
  3. A recurring element of criticism appears to be the CGI animation. As this is a visual element, a screenshot illustrating the CGI usage would be highly informative.

None of these should take long to address, to the point where I'd just fix them myself and promote it if I had access to the series. But for now, this page is on hold. --erachima talk 07:46, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am well aware of the backlog in GAN, so no worries. In fact, I am grateful that you took the time to review this nomination! I have added the requested episode list; feel free to change its formatting to make it look more presentable. I have also changed the infobox image because I did not upload that image, so I have no idea what its source was. The new image better fulfills the low resolution criterion anyway. Because Crunchyroll no longer provides licensed streaming of Zaion, it is somewhat difficult to provide a good quality screencap. I am thinking of using the fourth image in this article. The CGI looks awful enough for me. What do you think? Arsonal (talk) 20:30, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, we're good on points 2 and 3. The episode list still needs the JA titles, but I'll see if I can find them myself. (Resolved, titles are originally in English.) However, I just realized you left out another standard fact for the media section, which is what the OP and ED were. Think you could add that while I try to find those episode titles? --erachima talk 04:37, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If the titles are originally in English, the parameters |KanjiTitle= and |RomajiTitle= are not needed. I have removed the second parameter to reflect this. There was no opening song to the series if I recall. I saw something about the ending the other day; I will try to find a citation. Arsonal (talk) 06:39, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Never mind, I have found the ending theme song. Arsonal (talk) 06:58, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If there is no opening theme, that should probably be mentioned in the text. That's a minor detail though. My concerns with the page are now satisfied, so good work, it passes. --erachima talk 07:15, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
