The article didnt say what time they pledge this Sumpah Pemuda, i vaguely remember my History class said it is 28 Oct 1928, but it could be wrong --Nielswik_(talk) 08:05, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Rewrite[edit]

I have substantially rewritten this page in time for the 80th anniversary of the pledge. However it could still do with some work, particularly on the effects of the pledge on a) the struggle for independence and b) the post-independence use of the pledge to foster (or maintain) national unity. Also, perhaps somebody could find better references for the circumstances of the 2nd youth conference. Davidelit (talk) 11:06, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
