Title[edit]

Is the English title really Encounters After Midnight, or maybe You and the Night (according to IMDb)? — Mayast (talk) 21:51, 6 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sex Comedy label[edit]

I just want to dispute this as misleading. The film doesn't really discuss sex or concern sex much at all and it isn't particularly comedic in any way whatsoever. It is mainly existential and poetic and in the classical sense of the word comedy it is equal parts tragedy, so it's a misleading label. I'd hazard to describe it as humorless/maximally serious myself. It's certainly nothing like a Woody Allen film or Romcom (My take is it's trying to capture/reach a kind of personality or mindset, there is a deep need for non-biological family, the kind lonely people who don't want or understand traditional families long for but never find because our societies are so siloed and dependent on family structure for survival, perhaps speaking to a modern problem of what will the world be like if people stop having children, how will we build families then, and what about those people anyway? Also the two leads are gorgeous center pieces)--184.63.132.236 (talk) 01:06, 10 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
