Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because <It is the revival of a local tradition in a small village which is already noted for the song called the Yarlington Wassail and the apple called the Yarlington Mill. >. — ChrisRingrow (talk) 09:08, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Also Rodw has requested speedy deletion : "Thanks for your edits to Yarlington Wassail, however external links such as the ones to the rotary club and morris men shouldn't appear in the text unless they6 are being used as a reference for information provided and I couldn't find this when I looked at their web sites.— Rod talk 08:25, 5 February 2012 (UTC)"

I have now delete the offending links so I hope that the speed deletion notice will be removed. Chris Ringrow — Preceding unsigned comment added by ChrisRingrow (talkcontribs) 16:51, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for sorting out the external links - however I didn't request speedy deletion & the SD request was removed on 23rd Jan after I added a couple of references.— Rod talk 17:33, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
