Move to xfce4-terminal[edit]

The terminal has ben renamed to xfce4-terminal in release 0.6.1, please, to keep onsistency with upstream, move this article and change references. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 181.200.136.57 (talk) 20:28, 25 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There is no reliable source suggested in the above comment. The developer's documentation http://docs.xfce.org/apps/terminal/start uses plain "Terminal", likewise there are no comments in the source-code. TEDickey (talk) 20:48, 25 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
xfce4-terminal is a "package name". What the page name should be is Xfce Terminal or Xfce Terminal Emulator. The name "Terminal" is just a generic name for "the terminal" inside the Xfce window manager environment. When it is used or referred to outside of this enviornment "Terminal" ie. "the terminal" is no longer appropriate as a name.

Features[edit]

The features section is purely promotional, and could be removed to improve this topic. TEDickey (talk) 12:44, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A list of features is not a shameless promotion, but those features are pretty bogus or too abstract. The summary "supports tabs, customizable keyboard shortcuts (key bindings), customizable colors, and window sizes" includes the necessary features. I have remove that section.
