Status of HMS Convert[edit]

I notice in the section History a reference that:

"along with the Convert, [there] were nine other (sic) merchant ships".

Surely a frigate whose name was officially prefixed HMS would NOT be a merchant vessel herself?Cloptonson (talk) 20:48, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
