I think that eventually this article ought to be scrapped and the material moved into the workplace bullying article. "Workplace bullying" is a more commonly used term and it incorporates workplace agression.--Penbat (talk) 12:39, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am an industrial/organizational psychology professor who studies (among other topics) workplace bullying and workplace aggression, and Penbat's comment about workplace bullying incorporating workplace aggression is simply not true. If anything, workplace aggression incorporates workplace bullying (the latter being one type of the former), but, in general, my suggestion is that the two entries be kept separate while linking to each other. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.98.155.79 (talk) 21:49, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think both Penbat and this professor above are both correct. Both workplace bullying and workplace aggression are topics within work psychology internationally and should probably remain as separate articles.Mrm7171 (talk) 01:33, 15 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

" The aggressor must believe that their behavior is harmful to their target, and that the target is be motivated to avoid this behavior." - This sentence does not make sense. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Doug97 (talkcontribs) 07:26, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Plans for improvement[edit]

As it stands, I think the leader section needs minor (if any) changes. It immediately and concisely defines the topic and offers some general examples. I do think that there is an unnecessary comma after "aggression", so I will probably remove it and leave the rest alone.

While passive-aggression is touched upon, I think that expanding on the concept is in order due to its prevalence in the workplace. Also because when people think workplace aggression, it's usually passive-aggression they that comes to mind.

I also plan to beef up the Predictor and Outcome sections with some more findings and sources.
