Shouldn't it be noted that the song is basically about eating pussy?[edit]

It does not necessarily mean she is bi. however, the song is about vaginas, and that should somehow be noted considering it is part of the song's "background" (at least technically).

Cover Debate[edit]

There has been a debate on if this image is the official single cover or not, well its not. It was originally found at this link. Second or third single[edit]

Three singles have been released from the album:

SO OVERALL

Therefore three singles have been released overall (3 in the US, 2 internationally). This makes "Woohoo" the second single from the album, "You Lost Me" is therefore the third single. Well, the sources in the article prove NOTHING that the single was ever released. The iTunes source to say it was released as digital download is no longer valid, as well as the radio release date. So therefore, without proper confirmation, this article should be moved. No accurate source confirms this is a single. Actually the IP comments are wrong. MTV (which is an accurate source) says that "Woohoo" is the second single and coverage of her performance of it also refer to the second single. Just because an artist puts a single on hold or pulls promotion for it doesn't mean that its not a single. It was released → fact, it was sent to both radio and iTunes → fact, It recieved indepedent coverage → fact. So as much as i dont want to call it a single ... IT iS. I'm not trying to say that it isn't a single in the u.s. that's not what i was on about. I am stating that you are using a source that states that 'WooHoo" was sent to radio airplay? You view that source and NOTHING about woohoo is mentioned. The link needs to be replaced or the article will become inaccurate. The itunes source also DOES NOT give any info about WooHoo being released separate for download before the albums release date. There are no dates, so again, that source is incorrect to. The table has been deleted. None of those date's were sourced. When they were, the source's were inaccurate. Thanks for removing them. Until source's can be found, table shall not exist, which also means this song cannot be in the singles category. However, the article is well written, so it should be kept. I know you Xtina fans don't want to face it but it was sent to radio as the second single and MTV has called the song the second single as well as its writer, Claude Kelly. Official single debate[edit]

I know this has been discussed before, but I think it should be brought up again. When it comes down to it, "Woohoo" didn't get an official single release. The song has no official cover, was only released digitally as a part of the pre-order of Bionic, after it leaked online and has no music video. All things aside, just because a song charted and was released digitally does not make it an official single. And if it was to be an official single, there would be a cover when it was released on iTunes, instead it just the cover of Bionic. I don't wish this article to be deleted, I just think it should be downgraded to a song template.

Just because a song does not get a cover or video treatment doesn't mean it is or is not a single. Since it was already released digitally only radio add dates are used to tell US-only singles, and Woohoo has one. I know for a fact this has been discussed at least 20 times on both this talk and Bionic, Not Myself Tonight and You Lost Me's talk pages, and it does not need to be brought up again and it has been addressed time and time again. Charts[edit]

Ok, According to this article. "WooHoo" charted on the Billboard 100, and Canadian 100. BUT, on the source, it states the song never charted. AllMusic also states the same thing. So shouldn't those charts be deleted?--JackSUNxD (talk) 07:12, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Lemme quote what the page says, promotional recording "A promo single (short for promotional single) is a single that is made available to nightclubs, radio stations, music publications, and other media outlets by a record label for the express purpose of promoting a new single or an entirely new album." For one, it was released with Bionic pre-order digitally. And I know it is original research to say this, but it's quite obvious that it was released to gain more interest in other songs the album had to offer since "Not Myself Tonight" wasn't doing it. Obviously, this kind of things seems to be somewhat controversial on Wikipedia, but really; there's no source from her label saying it was a single at some point, so I think it's best to categorize it as a promo single. And just because her label doesn't mention it in which I saw someone assume that it was "because it did bad." That doesn't have to be the case. Well I would consider the discussion on the DITD page as anything to go by, as there are only a few participants discussing it. Also, the radio thing is usually just for US radio, because CD singles rarely released over here. Woohoo was released to US radio. DITD was French and Australian radio, where they still receive CD singles. So yet again, this is different. Also the quote you pulled from the promotional single page is unsourced. She performed it once (as part of a medley,) never mentioned it and saying "because it flopped and she wanted to ignore the fact it was released" applies no actual evidence. This is a different situation. "Woohoo" was made available for digital download and sent to rhythmic radio stations in the US.
