notability[edit]

My general thought is that as the NHRA is basically the NASCAR of drag racing, that if this facility hosts an event on what is the major circuit of its sport, then it is notable (otherwise, what makes, say, PIR notable and not this). I agree--I think I looked into this when someone first added it to the Woodburn article and concluded that in the world of drag racing, this is a notable place, which is why I decided the redlink was OK. However, the article needs to show that it's notable by including multiple citations to non-trivial reliable sources. I'm sure there has been a write-up or two in the Oregonian and probably some national racing publications? Compare to Southern Oregon Speedway, which doesn't appear to be affiliated with any national racing circuits. Katr67 (talk) 06:54, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
