I'm not trying to create an advertisement for this event. I was trying to create something like the Indy 500 page with information about what goes on and what has happened in the past. I'm hoping to have people contribute to the history of the events, because I don't know much about it.
Should I remove the links? Are they considered advertisements? I would appreciate any help since this was my first attempt.
FYI: This is a well know event in the small comunity of r/c car racing and it does not need any advertising. Entries to the event sell out quickly and spectators get in for free.

There is just no way on earth this R/C event is better known than the Winternats. So, I suggest this page be moved to Winternats (radio-controlled cars) (or something), allowing a reasonable redirect here. TREKphiler any time you're ready, Uhura 00:19, 22 November 2018 (UTC)
