Adding images to bio. page, r.e. copyright and authorization

The person who started this page informed me, the subject, that he has been repeatedly denied his attempts to add examples of my work with my permission. So, I have registered, and as the copyright holder of my work, I hope the images will be accepted to make the page more complete. Can someone please tell me, am I doing this correctly? Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! We are very careful about copyright here, especially with images, so when someone uploaded the work of a living professional photographer without clear evidence of permission, it was removed to protect your rights as a copyright holder and the project. Obviously, you are free to upload works to which you own the copyright if you are willing to make them available under a license compatible with the project. I would start by reading Wikipedia:FAQ/Article subjects, which is a FAQ for the subjects of articles. Specifically, Wikipedia:Contact us/Photo submission provides directions on how to submit photos for the subjects of articles and what you need to do to ensure we have your permission on file. Hi Zach, I submitted an image to the wiki email address you suggested and I have received nothing back! Now I also see that the page has been flagged because of my involvement? However all I did was share factual and informative links/sources which can only enhance the legitimate information about me and my work? My sole intention was to assist this nice young man, Philip Dunham, in making the page as accurate and complete as possible! Thanks. That email address is maintained by volunteers, so it may be some time before you receive a response. You will definitely hear back from someone once your request is processed though, either confirming that the upload is complete or requesting more information from you. As for the "flag," it's simply a standard practice on Wikipedia to mark articles in this way when they have been substantially edited by the subject of the article until they have been reviewed by other neutral editors. I wouldn't worry about it very much. I do suggest reading Wikipedia:FAQ/Article subjects and WP:COI, both of which should provide useful information for the subjects of articles. Just to clarify, I certainly don't doubt your veracity. You are welcome to submit images through the above procedure (or to upload them directly if you are able to do so, but I certainly acknowledge the file upload process is confusing!) and to propose changes and updates to the article here on this talk page. The guideline is to be extremely careful editing an article about yourself, but that doesn't mean that anyone here wants the article to be inaccurate or incomplete either.
