Anchor Food and G. Wood, Son & Co[edit]

According to Wilhelmsen House § History

Anchor Foods also had offices in the building in 1915 following a fire.[1]

Is Anchor Foods here the same as Anchor (brand)?

According to the Heritage Council reference:

Anchor Foods (originally G. Wood, Son & Co.) also operated from here after a bad fire in April 1915.

We do have an article for G. Wood, Son & Co.. However the ref is ambiguous; it could be interpreted as:

According to the Anchor Foods website, Anchor was a trademark of G. Wood, Son & Co.[1] Hack (talk) 12:59, 19 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
No Anchor (brand) is a New Zealand dairy company and it is not the same as Anchor Foods which still trades in Carrington Street in Fremantle to this day, had you done just a little research you could have found this simple fact out yourself instead of starting a pointless conversation thread. Where was the fire[edit]

In either case (Anchor, G. Wood etc) above it might be helpful if the article mentioned where the fire was - at Wilhelmsen House or somewhere else. Unfortunately the ref doesn't tell us. Mitch Ames (talk) 12:38, 19 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

According to http://www.anchorfoods.com.au/our-heritage/, some time between 1904 and 1929 Anchor's Cantonment St Fremantle warehouse (which had opened some time between 1879 and 1904) was destroyed by fire. Presumably this was the 1915 fire, after which they moved to Carrington St. Mitch Ames (talk) 08:16, 23 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
