JackofOz deleted a portion of my original article on the basis that "there was no Department of Aboriginal Affairs during this period". Gray was certainly Secretary of the Department of Aboriginal Affairs - see his bio on page three of the cited document - it is just that I can't find any dates to go with that service as Secretary. There was a Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and a DAA from 19 December 1972 [1] to 23 July 1987 [2]. On 24 July 1987, the DAA as such ceased to exist- [3]. -- JackofOz (talk) 12:47, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The current text on the article seems fine to me. I had a brief look but was unable to find anything that substantiates the date that he was actually in the job.
