Don't delete this page. I think the fact that Weston CI is the second oldest school in the TDSB ALONE makes the school very notable. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.124.28.142 (talk) 17:46, 17 July 2007

Notability has a specific meaning when used on Wikipedia. Wikipedia:Notability is a guideline to help ensure that articles are verifiable, a core Wikipedia policy. Unverifiable articles are deleted from the encyclopedia. Notability means that an article has non-trivial reliable sources discussing it, indicating its worthiness for inclusion. Unsourced is not a reason for deletion. The criterion is unsourcable. Several proposals are have been put forth at various times to change WP policy in this regard, all have failed. DGG (talk) 20:11, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I needed info on this school. Why would anyone care if this article exists? Jeez! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.185.128.54 (talk) 04:31, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Alumni[edit]

I trimmed, linked, and tagged the alumni section [1]. Only one entry had an article that referenced the person's attendance at the school. Some had articles that made unsourced claims of attendance at the school, some had articles that made no mention of the school, and some had no articles at all. One was linked to the wrong article. I removed some, tagged those that seemed notable but needed articles, but everything except that one entry with a properly sourced article is subject to removal if not fixed.
