Source issues[edit]

It's the main newspaper there and the largest newspaper in Nevada, as you'd know if (a) you'd ever read it or (b) you'd read Wikipedia's article about it. And no, it's not a tabloid. Prioryman (talk) 06:20, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, my bad. I read the article straight after posting, seems fine.

As for removing the reviews, I did consider leaving them, but they are not integral to the story of Warren, Jr. himself, I cut them out. Although the Mirror and Metro are raising concerns about the documentary, I typically avoid these sort of sources in BLPs whether they support contentious information or not. I can see why they may be justifiable in this case, but given the general quality of these publications, I would rather they were not in any bio. The article is as much about the documentary as about the man himself - both have received widespread coverage. The reviews are valuable in highlighting the key points of the documentary, especially the way that it indicts the appalling nature of the so-called health care system in the US. It's hardly uncomplimentary about Warren - as the Metro article you highlighted says, "Wesley Warren, Jr showed remarkable courage and determination to get the surgery he needed" and the documentary was an "inspiring story of human fortitude in the face of outlandish bad luck." The penis factoid was quite widely reported - I think it was in the Huffington Post too - and if I remember rightly it was in the documentary. The bit about him selling his testicles on eBay was certainly in the documentary; there's a scene where his doctor persuades him that it would be a bad idea.
