Sentence removed[edit]

An anon inserted the following uncited sentence (poorly) into the article:

This school is segregated among blacks and whites by giving blacks designated lockers in the middle of the hallways.

I'm not about to go to Milwaukee to check this assertion out, but I'm assuming it's nonsense. That said, I haven't removed it from the article, simply commented it out. I'm guessing that if the statement is true, there has to be someone out there who's noticed it and commented on it, online. As yet, however, I haven't been able to find it mentioned anywhere. See [1] and [2]. Tomertalk 04:35, 7 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

As a student, I can assert that there is some validity to this-- there is a certain hallway (located centrally in the school) colloqially known as the "ghetto hallway" where the lockers for a disproportionate number (though by no means all) of minority students are located. I have no idea as to how this came about, though I would reckon there would be a benign explanation of some sort. AlanKHG 03:23, 26 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nevertheless, such detail is ostensibly non-notable (and thus unencyclopedic); in any case, irrespective of the truth of the fact, it's unlikely that verification (such that the entry does not contain original research) could properly be undertaken. Joe 03:25, 26 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"established prior": prior to what?

The reason is that they are the ones bussed in from Milwaukee and were therefore some of the last to register. However, it IS "unencyclopedic" information as it is merely a coincidence that all who are bussed from the inner city are black. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.167.201.170 (talk) 02:51, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
