On reading this article, I was struck by the similarity with another building project, also in London, also a fiasco. But the more modern structure is south of the river, in Greenwich. At least the Millenium Dome was finished. 84.130.113.173 14:06, 28 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting that Watkins'Tower was never completed because the money ran out! Will the same apply to the new Wembley Stadium??

Inasfar as the man's surname was Watkin, it is surely Watkin's tower.
