Re-written to clarify, and removed blatant biased promo-type language.[edit]

The article had a lot of biased, promotional-type language in it, and a generally-unencyclopedic tone, such as "the head hunt was on", "the band hit the scene", "but no one understood his vision", and "the musicians provided a perfect bed for his brilliant rants". What's funny is, when an article features a lot of bias like this, it's often also poorly written, in general. So I was able to clarify a few things while also removing the POV. But I don't know anything in particular about the band (such as, why they're notable in the first place!) so I wasn't able to really add anything useful of an encyclopedic nature. There were one or two statements that were so unclear, and so obviously biased, that I just removed them. I don't think anything crucial is missing, though. And citations are needed for some statements. --Ben Culture (talk) 13:58, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, the article isn't up to snuff. As to why they would arguably be notable in the first place I do remember at the time the album came out, and their video received some rotation on MTV, that they were supposed to be the next big thing. Lars Ulrich of Metallica was apparently a huge fan as well. With that being said: you're absolutely correct that a lot of the POV sentences should be eliminated entirely. I'm not much of a fan of this band as I'm interested more in the nostalgic aspect but I might go through and tighten up the article a bit over the next few months or so.Yojimbo1941 (talk) 14:13, 15 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Cargo Records[edit]

According to this article, Clarke released an album called Opium Hotel on Cargo Records. But there are three separate labels with that name. I don't know anything about the band, and I don't care, so I'm not going to do research to find out which Cargo Records it was. I originally just linked to the disambiguation page for it, but I got a message from DPL bot, so I assume it's not proper to link to the disambiguation page just because you don't know the specifics. --Ben Culture (talk) 19:39, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
