Untitled[edit]

"Heroes can now have groups of loyal soldiers called a retinues, which will follow and fight for them in battle, and their level cap has been increased to 20. The human faction has been split into two new races: the Empire and the Knights. The elf faction has been split into three races - the High Elves, the Wood Elves, and the Dark Elves. While the Dwarves has been spilt into two races - the Dwarves, and the Dark Dwarves." Only the Humans split is new to Warlords Battlecry III. The Elves were already seperate in WBC1 and the Dark Dwarves were introduced in WBC2. It's been a long time since I played the original game, but I'm pretty sure the Retinue was a feature in the original WBC, as well. New features actually introduced in WBC3: the Plaguelord, Swarm, and Ssrathi races, between one and several new units for all old races, the Arcane, Poison, and Divination magic schools, several new hero classes, a brand-new campaign engine, a completely new hero level-up method that includes the ability to level up in the middle of a battle. I will fix what the wiki says. I don't have an online citation, I have only my manuals for the games and the games themselves. --Malimar (talk) 23:55, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
