References[edit]

I'm not familiar with the following refs which i now copy from Harold Ware#References. Since the material i put in the accompanying article came from that article, i expect suitable refs for the accompanying article can be found among them:

Role of Jews[edit]

The article should maybe try to show that during the 1950s, anti-semites consistently made links between Communism and Judaism. It also appears that there were several Jews within the Ware Group. Editors should consider explaining this phenomenon with appropriate socio-historical sources. ADM (talk) 00:19, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Image of Hal Ware[edit]

File:Ware-harold-c1935.jpg - Harold Ware (circa 1935)

Since an image appears unchallenged in the entry for Harold Ware, would anyone considering its removal from this entry first please provide here a clear, specific reason why it should not appear here, too? That is, please use this Talk page. Aboudaqn (talk) 12:48, 19 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The bot that was removing the files left edit summaries explaining why. If you didn't understand the link to WP:NFC#Implementation, then it's OK to ask for clarification. However, that doesn't mean the bot was wrong to keep removing the file each time you re-added it. If you add a file to an article and it keeps getting removed, particularly by a bot, then there's probably a good reason why and you should try to find out what that is before re-adding the file. Anyway, I've answered your question at WP:MCQ#Ware Group with Ware's photo; so, please refer to that for more specific details.
Finally, non-free content can only be used in articles per WP:NFCC#9; this means you shouldn't display them anywhere else, including article talk pages. If you want to discuss a particular non-free file on an article talk page, please link to the file instead as explained in WP:COLON and WP:TPG#Non-free images. -- Marchjuly (talk) 13:18, 19 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Some other things.
  1. New discussion threads should be added to the bottom of the talk page. The easiest way to do this is to click on "New section" at the top of the page.
  2. Please don't remove other editor's posts from an article talk page unless there's a clear policy or guideline violation as explained in WP:TPO.

Marchjuly, Your link WP:MCQ#Ware Group with Ware's photo does not work (any longer?): could you please re-provide? Aboudaqn (talk) 21:12, 14 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The discussion thread was archived. You can find it now at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions/Archive/2019/September#Ware Group with Ware's photo. If you want to add a new comment to it, please don't do so on the archive page; follow the instructions at the top of the archive page and add it to the current MPC page instead. -- Marchjuly (talk) 21:41, 14 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
