I took the liberty of adding Walther von der Vogelweide, as Walther is a variant of Walter.

Weit[edit]
Weit is listed as a dutch variant of Walter, which is not true. It sounds German to me, but I cannot confirm this. I'm removing it now.--82.93.67.114 (talk) 11:09, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
Geographical Distribution should be a subsection of "Surname"[edit]
