Unverified content[edit]

Approximately two months ago a large block of text was pasted in by an SPA that is labeled "Wahconah Park, the Short Story As researched & written by: David J. Potts". This obviously does not belong in its present form. The edit history says that this is the research submitted to the Massachusetts Historical Commission which led to the place being listed on the National Register of Historic Places. If this is a copyvio it needs to be deleted. Otherwise, if it can be verified then it may be potentially usable in the article (but it can't stay in it's present form as that would be pure plagiarism). MB 01:25, 15 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't seem to be copied from the National Register nomination, but it sure looks like an newspaper or magazine article. (NR nomination at "NR" button here.) Magic♪piano 01:49, 15 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The text appears to be lifted from this Facebook post. Magic♪piano 02:00, 15 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I just reverted to the last version before the addition. If anybody wants to try to dig some usable material from the long addition it is here [1] Smallbones(smalltalk) 02:52, 15 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
