Weird Coincidence?[edit]

In the film version version of Dave Gibbons and Alan Moore's V for Vendetta, one of V's calling cards is a rose - the Scarlet Carson. The name associated with this rose is 'McGredy', which is very close to the name of the head of the Fingermen, and horticulturalist, Creedy. .
