I was stunned to discover there was no Vince Jones article on wiki. Of course if anyone wants to add detail please go ahead but i will expand it over the next few days. Brettr 14:06, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The credibility of this page on Vince Jones is seriously undermmined by the unsourced allegation that some unnamed person or group attempted to murder Jones in Gippsland- Victoria (Australia), due to his pro-environmental stance in the region.

Serious claims such as this must be sourced by:

a) the date of the alleged offence

b) the name of the Victoria Police Command who investigated the incident.

Not to do so offends the basic tenets of responsible journalism.

Therefore, if the above sought facts are posted, and they can be authenticated, then it will be reasonable to leave the attempted murder claim on the post.

If not, the murder claim should be removed forthwith.
