Untitled[edit]

In Spanish the title seems to be spelled with a 'W', not with a 'V' as stated in this article. http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wickie_el_vikingo —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.194.161.25 (talk) 13:27, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Boy?[edit]

Was Vicky definitely a boy? He/she always seemed androgynous. Axl (talk) 10:14, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Great. Child pornography and bestiality in one frame in a kids show ;-) . Typical anime. --84.159.221.1 (talk) 15:57, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Funny, I definitely remember the German spoken text occasionally referring to "him" in the female form ("sie")... so either the translators, or the graphics team must have gotten confused, too ;-)

Definitely a boy... the problem seems to be that in German, the name "Wickie" does not exist, but there does exist "Vicki" (pronounced the same) which always refers to a woman named Viktoria. (Viktor is left unabbreviated.)--77.4.41.247 (talk) 12:00, 3 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
When I was growing up, I used to watch this in English, and I thought it was a girl - Vicky is a girl's name in English, short for Victoria. The character has long hair, too, so in this day and age, you would expect a character called Vicky with long hair to be a girl. KägeTorä - () (Chin Wag) 01:31, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The Swedish name "Vicke" would commonly be interpreted as a boy's name, as a nickname for "Victor". 惑乱 Wakuran (talk) 17:23, 1 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
