Possible merge?[edit]

I work in the field. Saturation velocity in semiconductors has special importance. It is vaguely related to velocity saturation in other fields. In semiconductors, these velocities are precise and necessary to model the behaviour transistors made from these materials. Merging it with velocity saturation of falling bodies, for example, will waste the time of people in both fields. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.193.21.88 (talk) 10:43, 9 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not very science-y but I noticed that both saturation velocity and velocity saturation both have their own pages but both are stubs. Would they work well if merged together? They appear to contain much of the same information, and a quick look at the revision histories of each leads me to believe that the two articles are being developed by different editors. Any input? Saturation Velocity is the more common term in industry — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.170.34.74 (talk) 01:04, 23 January 2014 (UTC)  Done[reply]
