Copyvio[edit]

I noticed that the entire list is copied directly from OSAC's website [1]. OSAC clearly claims copyright for their material, website contents, and the list at the bottom of all their web pages. Could someone provide a comment on the legality of reproducing this material here. If this is a copyvio, I think the article needs to be run through the copyvio page to cleanse the copyvio material from the edit history. -- JJay 00:52, 6 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Many of those schools listed have redirects to the page and the list is partially a product of those redirects. Arbusto 01:02, 6 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I would encourage you to review Wikipedia:Copyrights. There is no getting around this- it is official policy and has nothing to do with redirects to this page. The 48 items on the list were lifted directly from OSAC's page. They assert copyright to the entire contents of their website. Unless we have GFDL permission to use the material, I think it needs to be removed. -- JJay 01:24, 6 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You wanted to keep the TRACS list, which was a copied list. Please explain how copyrights were not an issue there and they are here. Could it be that I created this article? Give that you posted this minutes after I created it and your other edits [2][3][4][5][6][7][8] I think this has little to do with the article and more to do with the editor.
Since this is from a government source and is used for "education purposes" it surely qualifies for Wikipedia:Fair use. Arbusto 02:33, 6 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use is not the issue here. Because it is a government or quasi-government source, it may be public domain. However, that does not explain why OSAC puts the following copyright on their page:

Copyright 2003 by OSAC, all rights reserved.
Material has been reviewed by ODA, and includes contributions from George Gollin.

Regarding TRACS, I am not aware that that list was copied from somewhere. I did not submit the Tracs list or this list. In this case there was a link to the site, where I found the identical list. -- JJay 01:22, 7 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This list has been added to and reorganized. There is also a collections of lists here[9] with URL details and here[10] Arbusto 01:24, 7 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The order may have been changed but the list is essentially identical. I also assume that you are aware that your links are not accessible. Why don't you contact OSAC and ask for permission to use the material? That would immediately clear the copyvio. -- JJay 01:37, 7 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The list is different, the article is different, and links have been added. Arbusto 22:11, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

University of San Moritz[edit]

Why does University of San Moritz redirect here, yet is not mentioned at all in the text of the article? Badagnani 20:31, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
