This article is as clear and factual as I can make it.

The references are reliable--often Department of the Army General Orders on a US Army website.

The Reorganization Planning Directive is from the National Archives as markings on the documents clearly show.

The reference are available online so that the reader can examine them to judge their reliablty.

I have contributed to Wikipedia for years. Although I am a little rusty, I am trying to get my articles into an appropriate format.

I am an expert on this subject. I am an emeritus professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL), and I have been studying Army Technical Intelligence and gathering documents since the 1970s.

Recently, I have put more than 100 documents related to the Digital Commons at the UNL.

See: https://digitalcommons.unl.edu/dodmilintel/

I also prepared a chronology with a bibliography with a glossary, which is available online, to help me understand relationships in this field of study.

See: http://unllib.unl.edu/Bolin_resources/TI/tech-int.html

Adding to Wikipedia is a part of my scholarship since I feel that knowledge need not die with me. I welcome help with formatting of Wikipedia articles and with my writing.

This entry is intended as a framework to allow people who work for the agency and others interested in the Ordnance Corps to add more content.
