School move[edit]

The 194th Armored Brigade is focused on developing soldier in initial entry training—led by Drill Sergeants—and advanced armor and cavalry training via subject matter expert instructors. The brigade conducts One Station Unit Training (OSUT), Basic Combat Training (BCT), Advanced Individual Training (AIT), and basic Materiel Maintenance Officer training for the following U.S. Army career fields:[1]

The 194th Armored Brigade is focused on developing soldier in initial entry training—led by Drill Sergeants—and advanced armor and cavalry training via subject matter expert instructors. The brigade conducts One Station Unit Training (OSUT), Basic Combat Training (BCT), Advanced Individual Training (AIT), and basic Materiel Maintenance Officer training.[1]

30th AG[edit]

30th Adjutant General Reception Battalion initiates the transformation of over 28,000 civilian volunteers annually in order to prepare them for their development into disciplined Soldiers who are prepared to become valued members of the profession of arms. The unit rehabilitates injured/ill Soldiers and returns them to training, and separates Soldiers unable to meet OSUT requirements.

  • Abrams Tank System Maintainer (91A)

Vehicle Recovery Course (H8)[edit]

H8 vehicle recover course subject areas include, but not limited to the following: Operating, servicing, rigging, towing, and recovery with the M88A1/M88A2 series Track Recovery Vehicle. Students will use the Track Recovery Vehicle and equipment to recover mired and overturned equipment, and towing of track vehicles using winch and towing capabilities.[2]
