Updates[edit]

Hi All,

I have made quite a few additions/changes to this article.

I created new sections to break up significant events relating to the subject matter. I have summarized the purpose of each below:

Formation[edit]

This section will discuss the events that led the Red Army Faction and the communist league to come together as the URA. It will also explore the URA’s mission and beliefs as a merger of the two parties.

Training and Treatment of Members[edit]

This part will explore the methods of training the members of the URA underwent and the violent conditions they endured in a bid to prove their commitment to the cause.

The fall of the URA[edit]

This section will mainly focus on the Asama Sanso hostage event which led to the remaining members of the URA to be captured by police.

Public perception[edit]

This part of the page will collate a range of opinions held towards the URA from the time they existed and were captured, to the memory that the Japanese hold of the group now.

I have also found some images from Wikimedia commons that are relevant to the article (Riot police, Asama Lodge, Hiroko Nagata).

Additional references have been added.

Removing the "needs additional citations banner"[edit]

I was wondering if anyone had any input as to whether the banner could be removed from the top of the article? The article now includes several references to academic books and peer reviewed journals.
