Hello Nick, I converted your article into a redirect to this article, which predated yours by four months. Please feel free do edit the article as you like. Regarding the name, do you prefer "Unique Italy" or "One Italy"? I just would like the article to have an English name. --Checco (talk) 15:54, 11 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I didn't see this page before creating the other one, anyway I didn't know exactly how to traduce Italia Unica so I wrote it in Italian, but I think that "Unique Italy" is a good name.--Nick.mon (talk) 21:54, 11 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I am hesitant to engage in another discussion about the title of an Italian splinter party that seems to be of no international interest, but in my opinion the chosen translation is not the best. Italian unico/a has a broader meaning and use than English "unique", it also translates to "one" (as Checco has already pointed out) or "the only". You would not translate 'senso unico' as "unique-way street", would you? In this case, I would assume that they rather intend the meaning "One Italy" or "The Only Italy". But again, in absence of any verifiable English-language translation, I would opt for the Italian original name, knowing that Checco's and my opinion differ in this question. --RJFF (talk) 14:15, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Why does "Italia Unita" redirect here?[edit]

"Italia Unita" [1] is a nonprofit organization based in Boston.

It is simply a mistake (see this). You can easily remove the redirect and/or write a new article on the Boston-based organization, provided that it is has enough notability to have an article of its own in en.Wikipedia. --Checco (talk) 08:38, 9 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
