Why Neshoba County?[edit]

Most of the town is in Newton County with a portion extending north into adjacent Neshoba County.[2] In the 2000 census, 1,496 of the town's 2,021 residents (74.0%) lived in Newton County and 525 (26.0%) in Neshoba County" So my question is why is Neshoba County shown on the map? Actually, if you look at the map it shows the location as being in both counties. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:24, 26 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

How did it get the name Union, in Mississippi? Did Union forces name it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.87.199.178 (talk) 00:31, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
