I figure I should move the hadiths about this man to this spot... (Zimriel 23:26, 28 May 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Ibn Abihi[edit]

Zimriel, why did you remove this?

"In 664 Mu`awiyah replaced him with Ziyad ibn Abu Sufyan, often called "Ibn Abihi (son of his own [unknown] father)", who became famed for his Draconian methods of public order"

Striver: I wanted this text to refer more specifically to Ubayd Allah "Ibn-Ibn-Abihi" and not to Ibn Abihi himself. I did not mean to offend. Zimriel 27 Jan 2006 17:13

The place of controversy[edit]

Anonymous one "70.28.168.172":

I couldn't help but notice that you deleted the bibliography and wrote, "it is historically a false story, both in place and time.you mixed two different events together. the story above is not more than a false connection between two events happened in diferent times and diferent places and the whole story is historically incorrect."

If this is so, then your task is to make your case in the Discussion section. Also, it is hardly ethical to remove bibliographical references which might provide the evidence for which you seek.
