Sources[edit]

I've been having trouble finding where this information comes from. The sources only seem to list a fraction of the content provided here, though the source I just added does supplement the others well, it's not a source I trust that much myself as it doesn't seem to be where the original information is from. I assume this is from a book or similar? KristianLyngstol (talk) 01:06, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

And on that note, I couldn't get the whole reference-list to look too good, I'll give it an other shot at some time, but if anyone know how to combine in-line references with "plain" references in a good-looking and consistent way, it would help I suppose... Bent sail[edit]

Just wanted to point out that a 2 degree bend in a sub's sail (the alleged result of the collision with K-108) would have created more problems than drydocking. Sails can cause snap roll during maneuvering, and such a bend may have thereby made controlling the sub more difficult. Some accounts state that the access trunk within the sail was flooded, and it is easy to think that periscopes and masts were damaged. Reconstruction of the sail was likely considerable, and a 2 degree bend would therefore be a reconstruction defect. Just sayin...Tfdavisatsnetnet (talk) 17:23, 26 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
