Rules

The article says:- "the standard rules for the knockout phase in European competitions.[1]"

but the reference, [1], is UEFA EURO 2016 Qualifying Draw Procedure; and it just says:-

". . . The eight remaining third-placed teams contest play-off matches to determine the four teams qualified for the final tournament."

It doesn't say anything about penalties, away goals or extra time.

If others readers have trouble understanding the rules of play-off matches in FIFA/UEFA/etc. tournaments, they must have asked for such information before. Sorry for not checking every articles, but I did check some of them, and I have never seen it happened :) Centaur271188 (talk) 13:56, 14 November 2015 (UTC)

Well, if nobody wants to discuss more, I will remove this section very soon. It is noticeable that we already have a reference to Two-legged tie in the first paragraph, and I think that is user-friendly enough :) Centaur271188 (talk) 18:45, 14 November 2015 (UTC)
