Major junctions[edit]

Why wouldn't NJ Route 28 be considered major at US Route 22 and US 202/206 are?

NJ 28 is a state route that doesn't serve any special purpose and doesn't belong on the page of a U.S. Route. US 202 is a U.S. Route that runs from Maine to Delaware. -- NORTH talk 15:23, 18 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So, state roads in NJ aren't necessarily as big as US roads and interstates. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.228.70.72 (talkcontribs) 00:02, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

Precisely, at least not on U.S. Route pages. -- NORTH talk 03:49, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Would Route 22/78 be considered major at Route 31 in Clinton, NJ?

--24.228.70.72 04:52, 19 August 2006 (UTC) nextbarker[reply]

I'm a tiny bit confused by that comment. The I-78/US 22 junction should be (and is) listed on the junction list on the Route 31 page. But as I said before, state routes should not be listed on this page (or any other U.S./Interstate page) except in very rare circumstances, or on much shorter routes. -- NORTH talk 07:59, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I mean, would Route 31 acceptable on the Route 22 because that shares 78 info box?

Would Route 82 be acceptable in the Route 82 info box since Route 22 each is acceptable to the Garden State Parkway in Union? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.228.70.72 (talkcontribs) 17:48, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

I still have no idea what you're trying to ask here. Neither NJ 31 nor NJ 82 should be listed in this infobox under major junctions. If you're asking about infoboxes on other articles, it may be clearer if you asked on those talk pages. -- NORTH talk 21:07, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why wouldn't US 22 be considered major at US 202/206 or the GSP or I-287?

Would it be because US 22 parallels 78? is that why?

Would interstate 287 be acceptable in the US 22 info box, or no since 22 parallels 78, but they both would be pretty major.

New York[edit]

Why is New York not listed on the States traversed list??? Since I'm a resident of Mount Vernon, New York, there is a Route 22 in Mount Vernon, New York. It is called North Columbus/US-22 and South Columbus/US-22. -chris^_^ 09:26, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The road you are referring to is New York State Route 22, not US 22. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 20:08, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

eastern terminus[edit]

Not to be nitpicky but I believe the eastbound eastern terminus of US 22 is at the ramp split between I-78 and US1-9 rather than NJ 21 and US1-9. The ramp split for northbound NJ 21 occurs about 0.3 miles west of the eastern end. The SLD also shows I-78 and US1-9 as the eastern end.
