WHY TRY TO CHANGE HISTORY: J&K STATE WAS NEVER PART OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE.

J&K State[edit]

J&K State was never under the British. Firstly the great Maharaja Ranjit Singh a Jat ruled it then the Dogra Rajputs, great fighters took it over, So stop spreading rumours. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.125.14.67 (talk) 21:43, 17 March 2012 (UTC) [reply]

I have improved the wording and added a ref. I have taken the wording from Kashmir and Jammu (princely state) so a discussion there should take place if this is still not accepted. TerriersFan (talk) 22:58, 6 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

OLDEST SCHOOL[edit]

why did someone try to change the wording from "one of the oldest schools" to "the oldest school"? I have actually been a student of the school so i understand the "pride" part of it but without any evidence as the "citation needed". Unless someone is able to get a reliable source confirming this is THE OLDEST school, until then, "one of the oldest schools" will remain. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mhveinvp (talkcontribs) 11:07, 16 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Controversies section[edit]

A number of IPs have attempted to remove this long-standing section, claiming that it is incorrect, wrong, fake, or giving no reason at all.

I've removed the portion about the religious conversions since the connection to the school seems minimal, but the discussion of the financial improprieties seems well-sourced. What is the problem? It may reflect poorly on the school, but that is not a reason to remove it. Note that some of the IPs also removed notable alumni, the reference section, the external links, etc., all supposedly also fake or incorrect, so I'm having a hard time assuming good faith here.
