Image use[edit]

I would say the image use isn't exactly choice, seeing as his face is not visible. I'd recommend exchanging it. The Ace of Spades 01:21, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That's about as much of his face as I could find. If you can find an image with a better view of his face while performing, please do not hesitate to add it. --ҚЯĀŽΨÇÉV13 other crap 01:38, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good article[edit]

I don't see any room for improvement. I'm sure there is always room for that, but I can't see it as of now. LOL --Łoshɢooþii talk 20:53, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Although, maybe all of the bands he was in should be sub categories for some parent category? Maybe. Just throwing my thoughts out. --Łoshɢooþii talk 21:11, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Emarosa[edit]

I've seen Smith's name listed in the Emarosa wiki page for quite some time (assuming it was correct), so I said nothing of it up until now. Apparently the only source for him ever being in Emarosa is his Myspace page (everything else I've searched looks paraphrased from Wikipedia). All of the other info written on here regarding Emarosa seem to be assumptions made up by whichever user who wrote them, or the user directly contacted Smith and asked for that information privately. But the latter seems unlikely. Jonny Craig recently tweeted something that completely contradicts all of this. Smith's record label, Fearless Records, does not mention Emarosa whatsoever (how convenient) so it makes the situation look even shadier. So who's to believe? Someone who is currently in Emarosa and has been for nearly 3 years, or someone who claims to have been in Emarosa? It seems like this lie traveled halfway around the world as Twain would say. --Georgiamode01 (talk) 08:43, 7 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I only reverted you're edit to removing Emarosa from the page because you didn't include a reason to take it out other than you thinking he wasn't in the band. I wrote the part about Emarosa, and the "assumption" that he had been in the band for one month was actually not assumed, as his MySpace stated "March-April 2007" or something like that on the employment area. Thank you for showing that he wasn't in the band properly and with notable coverage. I will revert anyone who tries to add Emarosa to his band's from now on. --ҚЯĀŽΨÇÉV13 10:52, 7 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe he was in Emarosa, maybe he wasn't. I have no idea, maybe Telle made it up or some kid did. Telle is friends with Emarosa and perhaps he did fill-in for them at some point during a month-or-so long tour and added this to his profile for online social-networking websites as what he has experienced as a musician. How this confusion has came about makes no sense (and possibly will never be answered), but one thing is for certain; it will have to stay off of Wikipedia, because it's been feeding everyone (even music webzine reviewers and editors) false information. • GunMetal Angel 16:14, 7 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well, consider this: Jonny Craig wasn't even in Emarosa at the time that it appeared that Smith was. However, touring members are unnecessary if he was only a touring member. Someone just re-added Emarosa. Going to revert. Ugh. --ҚЯĀŽΨÇÉV13 20:42, 13 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Looking at the Commons file, the deletion is no longer pending, as it appears that the question about rights has been addressed.—C45207 | Talk 05:28, 20 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Current infobox image doesn't show face[edit]

The current infobox image doesn't show the subject's face at all. I will grant that the old one (still on the page, by the way) is from about eight years ago. Does anyone know of an appropriately licensed, up-to-date image that show the face that could be used instead?—C45207 | Talk 05:36, 20 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Another image that didn't show his face also came to problem when the article was created. I don't see the current image posing much of a problem. It does well until someone else can find another. • GunMetal Angel 01:51, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Update: that photo got deleted, I'm restoring the one of him when he was 19 as it's the only fair use picture we got and you can at least clearly see his face. Times like this make me wish I should have taken more photos when I was at Warped Tour when I met these guys >.> • GunMetal Angel 06:01, 29 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Image in Personal Life section[edit]

The image in the personal life section, according to its description at Commons, was taken around 2003. I edited the article to reflect this, after noticing that the image was captioned as being from 2006. This change was reverted back to 2006. Is there something I'm missing here?—C45207 | Talk 05:21, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That picture said 2003 for quite some time, however a couple months back Telle himself made edits to the article, and that was one of the changes he made. - Jer757 05:32, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
… which is exactly why I reverted C45207's edit. I didn't know he wasn't aware. • GunMetal Angel 15:55, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the explanation.—C45207 | Talk 21:27, 7 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disagreement[edit]

The genres that I edit on "Tyler Telle" Smith and The Word Alive are supposed to be accepted because the style of music that they play are qualified to be the genres that you disagreed to. The site denies almost all of my editing changes that I do on the encyclopedia. The Word Alive is not just metalcore or experimental metal, they're also qualified to be post-hadcore. The band is not considerd to be thrash metal. Tyler "Telle" Smith doesn't even sing crossover thrash metal. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.213.151.8 (talk) 04:20, 30 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
