Reception

I added it. I spent almost 2 hours putting in a critiqual receception. And not even a few hours went by and it was taken down. Dont ask me why. I had all the references. Characters

The starring characters are listed on the official website as allen payne,cassi davis,china anne mcclain,larramie shaw,lavan davis, and lance gross. I can't think of a better source than this. A certain IP user keeps changing this, and being that it is a dynamic IP, I can't communicate with this person. I consolidated the characters in the article, combining "Cast" and "Recurring characters" because the stars are already listed in the infobox. I alphabetized the list, but it seems this IP user doesn't want it to be this way. If you are the IP user, I would like to discuss these changes rather than engage in an edit war. Being that you don't give reasons for your changes, I can assume you don't want to work with other people to make this a better article.Asher196 (talk) 00:10, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

House of Payne WikiProject?

After completing my main contributions to the Curtis Payne article I realized there is still a lot of work to do concerning additional House of Payne articles, I haven't even finished the main family yet, not to mention the rest of the reccuring cast members. Locking and Lying

I was recently looking at the House of Payne article, and I noticed that there was a statement that House of Payne was starting on the FOX Network. This is not entirely true. If the person would of read the article CORRECTLY, they would have seen it is only on certain affiliates and is not new episodes. When I went to fix it, the article was LOCKED. The person who wrote this lie locked it. I am confused on how to unlock it, so could somebody unlock it and fix this error. Thanks! WHSV3 (talk) 00:06, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

The article was locked in order to prevent vandalism including blanking certain areas of the page or adding biased information that occurred prior to the lock. I submitted the application in order to have it locked, if you wish to correct this error please wait six days and you can then edit the article. Please remain civil as well. Dear IP, I have reverted your edits since you deleted sourced information, if that doesn't justify vandalism nothing does. merge

I dont see the merge don'ts every discussed. Since the portray of the character was awarded a significant award, and its the key character in the series, I'm reverting it, according to BRD. The second step. Now it has to be discussed, and consensus found. Here. BRD process is an article discussion process. I'm judging by the article--I don' know the show. Perhaps there are specific references to the character from the references listed at the bottom. It would help to say so. It would have saved trouble to discuss this first, but BRD is permissible. Ella Thompson-Payne?

I just wanted to double check something. I see here that it lists Ella's TV name as Thompson-Payne. However there was an episode I thought where Ella did a family reunion and they all had shirts on with the name Williams? It was the episode where Jazmine talks harshly of slavery and Curtis and Ella seek to teach her a lesson. I'm just trying to figure out of Thompson or Williams was her maiden (or née) name. Why was the reception page taken off?

Why were certain thigns removed and changed from the reception area?

Is there likea a conspiracy to not have reception and critique of this program or something? I had more reviews then are there now, smeone took them off and im not sure why....and not only that....someone even re-edited some of the things that i posted and had it go to dead links ...for example....in the reception are there is one website called common sense programs and when i frist put that there, the link to them was red (meaning there is no wikipedia page for them)....so then i fixed it, to where it went to blue (meaning there is a wikipedia page for them). i guess i spelled it wrong or had it structured wrong or something....and yet now....someone went back to when it was red? why woudl someone do that?....do u want it to be red and not blue? Do u want it to be set up to where it has no wikipedia page? No mention of critical reception which has been extremely negative with critics and audience alike. Also, no mention it got cancelled?
