Chest Burster[edit]

I think the "Chest Burster" is mislabeled, I haven't played this game in a very long time, so I'm not sure, but I think it is called the "Implanter" or something like that.

Nah, it is called "Chest Burster"... you're talking about an euro or australian version maybe? can't say for sure, I have only played NTSC version. Mike382 (talk) 00:45, 3 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Flare Gun[edit]

The flare gun is most effective if aimed at a surface. Anyone who walks on or touches that surface will take constant damage until they move away from it. SHOOTING AN ENEMY WITH THE FLAREGUN WILL EXTINGUISH THE FLARE,MAKING IT USELESS. The flaregun should be aimed at the enemie's feet.(Meaning you must hit the ground they are standing on,not the player himself (or herself)

Chest Burster name[edit]

It is not mislabled,It is called the chest burster, not the Implanter. When hit by secondary fire, you will hear a heard beat noise and words on the screen will inform you that you must kill the enemy with the Chest burster or pick up a power core to survive.

Mag.60[edit]

Just in case they have not listed this weapon (or I haven't seen it, the primary fire fires three consective rounds. When holding down the secondary fire the player can not move and a laser site emits from the gun,The laser automatically aims for you by turning you towards the enemy as he moves in front of you.(could warn enemies)When fired, one large burst comes from the weapon, using a large amount of bullet rounds.

The secondary fire uses 25 bullets and does at least 50 damage. One strategy tip is to use a single secondary fire to remove half the enemies life, and then finish them off with a faster rate of fire such as the Mag 60's 3 round burst or the rifle's single shot mode.

Creature Tag Glitch[edit]

In the early black cartridges for N64. Every game of 2 player Creature Tag ends with a mission failure screen and you cannot advance. Was there a recall or are there any other solutions available?

Yessir there was. The UK edition, in a grey cartridge, did not have this bug. Good luck finding a copy, though! 68.46.219.84 (talk) 03:22, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I had the grey cartridge version of the game, however it kept corrupting one of my memory cards in the controllers every so often.(Arvilino (talk) 23:05, 25 August 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Plot Section[edit]

Since the game does not have a distinct story, I have integrated the Plot section (which was a one paragraph summary) into the Characters section. --Chris Fjordson 10:19, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Upgrading to C class[edit]

I've performed a massive copy edit/restructuring, added a reception section with with an overview of reviews and scores from multiple publications, and added 23 inline citations. I believe the article is sufficient to be considered C class. Please contact me with any concerns and I will try to edit the article accordingly.--Chris Fjordson 10:36, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
