MindRec[edit]

Wow, no mention of MindRec or BT Garner. Both of the Turbo Duo/PCEngine Duo games developed by MindRec for retail are still for sale.RandwulfX (talk) 05:40, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merger question[edit]

Just wondering... Why isn't this and the SuperGrafx page merged with the TG-16 page? BcRIPster 07:26, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, the SuperGrafx was a separate game system, so I think it deserves its own page. You could argue that the TurboDuo is the same system as the TurboGrafx-16, but that doesn't mean the TG-16 page should be saddled with all the information on Johnny Turbo, which really occurred after the TG-16 proper had died off and been replaced by the Duo. 98.223.131.87 (talk) 21:14, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The problem with merging Johnny Turbo into this is that, while Johnny Turbo is probably noteworthy enough on its own, it is not really significant enough to the TurboGrafx itself for it to make sense in this article. It would feel like a pointless aside here, one that doesn't really say anything about the TurboGrafx... it is possibly relevant as an oddball bit of videogame advertising from its era, but it isn't a particularly relevant bit of trivia about the TurboGrafx specifically. --Aquillion (talk) 08:57, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling convention[edit]

The official spelling of the console seems to be "Turbo Duo", as two words, not "TurboDuo", per the console's own packaging, as well as this sales brochure. Pretty tempted to move the page and edit the article if there isn't any objections. Jonny2x4 (talk) 05:20, 8 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
