Text and/or other creative content from this version of Tupolev-116 was copied or moved into Tupolev Tu-116 with [616211879 this edit]. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists.

There is no need for a separate article on the Tu-116. It is entirely appropriate that it be covered by the variant section of the Tu-95. I propose transfer of any relevant info and deletion.Petebutt (talk) 06:08, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bit of confusion it has been marked as an article for deletion on the page and the label above mentions a proposed deletion which is not the same thing.
