Intro[edit]

"Dunn plays simple to complex grooves depending on the feel of the song completely supporting the structure of the song."

-- So he's a competent bassist? I just don't like the ring of this sentence. Not encyclopaedic enough for my tastes. Bobbygalaxy 11:12, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

-- Yeah.. It's an horrible sentence. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.101.126.235 (talk) 19:24, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Trevor Dunn related to Donald "Duck" Dunn?[edit]

A long time ago I was visiting Trevor Dunn's website in which he had some Q&A's with fans. One of them asked if he was related to legendary bassist Donald 'Duck' Dunn and to my astonishment he answered that he is his father. I never read anything about this and for some reason I have trouble believing it. Does anybody know more about this? If it is true, it is a trivia that should be mentioned I think. --Vunzmstr 20:59, 16 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, "Duck" Dunn is not his father. Question answered on the same Q&A page. --Vunzmstr 10:08, 22 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Double bass[edit]

This article does not state that Dunn plays the double bass, but an editor has just added him in the list of double bassists at the double bass article. Can an editor confirm that he does play this instrument, and, if so, on which albums and with which groups? Badagnani 17:49, 17 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not an editor, but can confirm he plays double bass. Check out his homepage for more details.

Platypus[edit]

Is it really fair to say that he's obsessed with playtpuses? He may just have tossed in the album cover as a small reference.-FeralCats

"college"[edit]

Saying he studied in college sounds kind of basic. How about stating where he went and what his degree is in?

Platypustule additions[edit]

Can we perhaps add some of the information added by Platypustule if we are able to properly source it? The Incident (talk) 20:18, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

I propose that Trevor Dunn's Trio-Convulsant be merged into Trevor Dunn. I think that the content in the Trevor Dunn's Trio-Convulant article can easily be explained in the context of Trevor Dunn, and the Trevor Dunn article is of a reasonable size that the merging of Foo will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned.
