Please change the height information from 5'8 to 5'11. 5 feet 8 inches is currently incorrect. Thank you. [1] at 1:00 76.179.238.199 (talk) 23:26, 18 November 2014 (UTC) JuliaBoyd02 (talk) 04:51, 15 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not done The subject's height currently does not appear anywhere in the article, nor should it be added without a reliable source for this information. Dwpaul Talk 05:00, 15 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I think that you should change Trevor's main sentence to add in "Professional Slayer". He mentions it in his youtube videos and his website, creativerebels.com . Thank you for your time and i hope that you good people willl let me make this edit/change Hippoplumpy (talk) 20:07, 18 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. What's a professional slayer supposed to be? Also, would need 3rd party sources to describe him as such. Cannolis (talk) 20:45, 18 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please revert the edit made on 13:28, 17 September 2015‎ by 2001:558:600a:34:35eb:818e:9ae0:183e. It was in fact relevant because Trevor Moran announced on Twitter that his new YouTube reality show will start releasing episodes tomorrow. 2001:558:600A:34:35EB:818E:9AE0:183E (talk) 04:20, 18 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Trevor Moran has come out as gay. http://superfame.com/post/trevor-moran-gay-coming-out-jacob-reinhard/ 2001:558:600A:34:35EB:818E:9AE0:183E (talk) 01:58, 1 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now: considering that that source says that he has not actually confirmed his orientation, let's wait on that Cannolis (talk) 03:44, 1 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 1 October 2015[edit]

Trevor Moran has come out as gay implicitly on Twitter. http://www.dailydot.com/entertainment/trevor-moran-i-wanna-fly-coming-out/ https://twitter.com/TrevorMoran/status/649332538356269056 Furthermore, he explicitly says "I'm gay" on his Snapchat story.

Reopened request: Moran's Wikipedia page has identified my edit as unconstructive. If possible, please add "On September 30, 2015, Moran came out as gay implicitly in his "I Wanna Fly" music video and on Twitter. He also explicitly confirmed his homosexuality via Snapchat by stating "I'm gay" multiple times" to his personal life section with the previously mentioned links as references.

Thanks for the ping Stabila711. There seems to be some confusion here. The edit that I removed is about a show he plans to produce. The main problem with it is that the source is a WP:PRIMARY one. That is unrelated to this request. I would say that this request has the same "Primary" problems. If you want to reconsider the request that is fine with me. MarnetteD|Talk 13:18, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@MarnetteD: Ah my mistake. The original response was that the page was unprotected and the OP almost immediately reactivated the request saying they couldn't edit the page. I saw you reverted him and assumed (incorrectly) that that was what they were talking about and moved on to other requests. My bad for assuming. I agree on the WP:PRIMARY aspect of the tweet however Twitter can sometimes be used as a reliable source if it comes from the verified account of the person in question (per WP:TWITTER and WP:Twitter). My concern lies in the fact that it is not really explicit. The tweet says It's my birthday.. Do I get a boyfriend now? This could be a confirmation, it could be satire, it could be a straight up joke. In accordance with the BLP policy it is better to hold off until absolutely, beyond a shadow of a doubt, sure that is what he meant. --Stabila711 (talk) 13:34, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Confirmation from secondary source. Wikipedia's filter has blocked edits. http://www.people.com/article/trevor-moran-comes-out?xid=socialflow_twitter_peoplemag
I don't believe we have a filter. In any case, semi-protection on this article expired on October 2nd, feel free to make the edit yourself. The People source seems sufficient to me. Cannolis (talk) 01:09, 10 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

She stated herself on Twitter that she wants to get rid of Formerly Known as… part because that’s her “dead” name. Also maybe updating her picture wouldn’t hurt to accurately portray her. 2601:241:8F80:74E0:F98F:EE4E:C930:8171 (talk) 12:55, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: Wikipedia's Manual of Style discusses this. It says as follows:
"If a living transgender or non-binary person was not notable under a former name (a deadname), it should not be included in any page. ... In the case of a living transgender or non-binary person, their birth name or former name (professional name, stage name, or pseudonym) should be included in the lead sentence of their main biographical article only if they were notable under that name." (Manual of Style/Gender identity)
According to the policy, we can make the change if the birth name does not pertain to a well-known presence.
Unfortunately, as much as I understand the sensitivity of the topic, I can't say this change agrees with the manual. I'm taking into consideration that her most popular extended plays and singles (as well as films and nominations) debuted before 2020, the year when Moran made her identity publicly known, as the page says.
If you disagree, feel free to reply once more. You'll likely need to establish a consensus before the edit is actionable.
As for a new image, if you find a picture with a viable copyright, I'd be happy to make the change. Simply make a new edit request if you do. If not, I'm sure another user will.
