Transcendence is one of the “uber” guilds in World of Warcraft. They are often referred to as the top Horde guild in the game. They are located on the Zul’jin server.

Transcendence formed shortly after the launch of World of Warcraft by a group of Everquest players from monklybusiness.com. They started as a casual guild, but due to the split of a revival guild “Bloodreign” They were able to recruit the core of “Bloodreign” and become the premier guild in WoW.

They are known for not trading or sharing information about their methods that they use to accomplish their goals. They are also well known for their beta testing of content for Blizzard on the Blizzard test server where they have almost every world first.

Transcendence is hardest guild in the game to make it into. Of the players that try to join less than 1% is accepted. The one that are accepted usually have on average a six month wait before actually joining.

One of their members of note, Hyzenthlei came to fame by breaking World of Warcraft item code. This is how the game designers decide what weapons drop from what beast and the stats of the weapon. With this code you could predict the stats of yet unfound weapons and as well as plan out gear for maximum performance.
