Article created[edit]

Hello, I have to create this page as a university project and I can't seem to understand the deletion policy. Marwan.roz 08:24, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I am in two minds whether to send this to AfD. My main concern is that it is a prima-donna-ish fork - a lot of this material is already covered in other articles. Marwan, will you please: a) check to ensure that you have not duplicated stuff elsewhere, b) stick to Wikipedia format standards: we do not embolden headings, there is little need for horizontal lines, we do not have big pictures. We do not put in multiple blank lines, but you are allowed to use <br clear="all" /> . -- RHaworth 09:21, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If you are going to insist on your ideas of article formatting, then I will send it to AfD. -- RHaworth 21:42, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Please read Wikipedia:School and university projects - instructions for students and advise your tutor to read our policies, starting at Wikipedia:School and university projects before setting such assignments. Thank you. Andy Mabbett 22:17, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Questioning validity of page and information[edit]

From what I see here, this page was created and written by someone with no practical experience in the field of traffic sign design, and solely for the purpose of fulfilling a university assignment. The design of traffic signs is a complex topic. If I ever get time (which may not be likely anytime soon), I'll see if I can perform a rewrite based on professional practice and experience.
