Fictional vehicles[edit]

@DestinationFearFan: has done a good job adding more concept cars to the various Toyota concept car pages - for which I thank him. However, the majority of cars he added on this page were just rumours passed around by magazines. Toyota engineers mentioned that they would like to make some concept cars (eg, based on the MR2 with help by Porsche). But no actual car was made - or at least no proof of an actual car has been presented. We need something more concrete - something that can be touched. Otherwise I can say that I am making a 2000 hp 6WD green and black MR2 with the help of Mr Bean and Toyota's blessing.  Stepho  talk  10:47, 27

@Stepho-wrs: Ok, I understand what you are telling me. And I fully agree with what you are saying. The APM and HYBARI vehicles I know for a fact that they are real, as Toyota has a page for them. The Toyota Subaru SUV seams to be a plan, as well as the MR2 Concept has they have actual mention of the Toyota company. --DestinationFearFan (talk) 15:23, 27 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@DestinationFearFan: According to WP:CRYSTALBALL, Wikipedia is not a collection of product announcements and rumors. So if a concept vehicle is a "plan", or even just a fan-made picture or speculations, it must not be added to Wikipedia. These are the sections that I will delete and these are the reasons:
  • The Toyota HYBARI was said to be under development, no pictures, no publications. Which means it is not a concept vehicle like the title of this article suggests. It cannot be touched, and as Stepho-wrs said, we need something that can be touched.
  • The Toyota LC 500 is a photoshopped image by @carfrontswaps, and the citation literally said "what if" and "rendering", suggesting it is not real.
  • The Toyota Supra "Lexus" is a fan-made sketch, the citation explicitly said that, with the keyword "imagine", suggesting it is not real.
  • The Toyota MR2 Concept is a fan-made 3D model made by Esa Mustonen in 2018.[1] It is neither made by Toyota, introduced in 2020, or touchable.
  • The Toyota Super AWD literally didn't exist.

These do not belong to Wikipedia, so once again i'll delete them. Andra Febrian (talk) 15:47, 27 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Andra Febrian: You are fine to delete the entries, but KEEP the train because it has coverage on Toyota's website. Look at https://global.toyota/en/newsroom/corporate/33954855.html?_ga=2.17567162.246570257.1614190609-1797646371.1614190609, on Toyota's website, it shows images.DestinationFearFan (talk) 15:51, 27 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Deal. Andra Febrian (talk) 15:59, 27 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Andra Febrian: Thank you for being cooperative. DestinationFearFan (talk) 16:02, 27 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
