Length of this road[edit]

Complex intersections at each end of this road and wide separation of “up” and “down” carriageways on the range section make the determination of length rather subjective. This article uses a length measured on Google Maps for the westbound carriageway, as follows:

From the point where the westbound carriageway begins to divert from the Warrego Highway at Helidon Spa.
To the point where the westbound carriageway passes under the Toowoomba Bypass at Charlton.

NOTES:

The start point is just west of the point where the eastbound carriageway joins the Warrego Highway.
The end point is midway between:
- where westbound traffic enters the re-aligned Warrego Highway, AND
- where eastbound traffic leaves the re-aligned Warrego Highway.
The westbound carriageway is longer than the eastbound on the range section.
