Flash[edit]

Tony Kaye was NOT a founding member of the band Flash. He merely played keyboards on their debut album. I would correct this, but apparently changing misinformation is identified as "vandalism" by some over people :( 41.245.165.140 (talk) 11:40, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There is some dispute about Kaye's actual status within Flash, but Kaye is listed as a full member of the band alongside the other members of the group on the back cover of Flash's self-titled debut LP. In addition to this source material (issued by the band itself) most music guides seem to list Kaye as a founding member of Flash, including allmusic.com
The solution as it stands seems fair. If the user is at all interested in Flash, he or she can simply click on the "Flash" link. There, the entry touches on the the dispute over Kaye's status within the band (which essentially centers around Kaye joining Flash on what he perceived to be a temporary basis). 99.254.220.44 (talk) 06:31, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tony didn't grow up in north London![edit]

Sorry, people, but what you wrote is inaccurate. The source you're quoting says he grew up 'north OF London', hence it could be anywhere north of that city. Plus, he stated he grew up in Leicester, he calls this 'his hometown' and the source is this one: https://www.hit-channel.com/interview-tony-kaye-solo-yes-david-bowie-badger/208681 Check it out, please.
